Woodland Park Zoo has cared for elephants for nearly 90 years. The three elephants currently living at the zoo are cared for by a dedicated team of experts with more than 100 combined years of direct experience tending to their needs, both physical and psychological.

Each day, our elephants are monitored and observed for general health and to ensure that they are in top physical and mental shape. Part of the daily routine also entails cleaning their indoor barn and outdoor areas and providing routine body care including heated baths.
